We are a mighty start-up team of seven Aussies dedicated to tackling the problem of loneliness, especially for those between the ages of 18 and 35. Our social app is designed to help you find your tribe and foster meaningful connections through shared passions, interests and real life experiences.

Once you download LikeMinded and fill in your profile, including hobbies, passions, and interests, our app's AI gets to work, suggesting events tailored to your preferences and matching you with compatible people who will be attending those same events. 

LikeMinded serves as both your local and global event directory, making it easy to discover events and make friends anywhere in the world.

Our mission is to create a world where everyone can find their community and build lasting relationships. By connecting like-minded individuals through events, we hope to make loneliness a thing of the past.

Welcome to the LikeMinded universe. Where connections, communities and events thrive! I'm Amber, the founder & CEO. LikeMinded is more than just an app; it is facilitator of in person social connection and epic events. 

I am slight wildcard I'm not going to lie. I will try to summarise for you! I dropped out of highschool at 16, was a kinder teacher for 8 years, did a degree in Biomedical science. Throw in being homeless during a covid -19 pandemic, some hard work scrubbing toilets for a living whilst I studied and you apparently get the perfect combination for what I do now! Fast forward 3 years I now own several companies, a podcast and a global online program and run regular large scale events across Australia.

 Here's the secret. LikeMinded has two sides to it - 

1. People who are looking to connect with others through events & activities (hence our tagline "A friend for every event"). 

2. Event organisers who are creating epic events and want them shown to exactly the right audience. 

We are talking the TikTok FYP for events here friends. 

Not only is the feed insanely high tech and curated to the user, we are actually able to increase your event attendance. 

HOW?? Is probably what you are thinking. 

It's actually really simple, straightforward human psychology. 

9/10 times people want to attend events where they know at least 1 or 2 familiar faces. We match people based on their interests and favourite events & lower the barrier to facilitate their IRL meet. 

As a result, we see more people following through with their plans, organising to catch up etc. All because they feel... Comfortable. What a concept. 

Our overarching goal is to reduce loneliness through in-person events, experiences, and travel. Our mission is to bring people together and create meaningful relationships in a world where genuine connections are often hard to find. And if we can help keep epic events running on the way, we think that's a pretty sweet deal too!
