There is nothing worse than going it alone! Everyone needs a support system, including event organisers! We understand this, which is why we curate small groups in our cohorts called "hype crews". These hype crews consist of 3-4 other event organisers who you can get to know more intimately, who share your interests, strategies, struggles and wins! Our SuperHost program is offered to groups of up to 100 participants, and we throw a range of optional community events & catch ups in between lessons across Melbourne & Sydney so you can make in person valuable connections with LikeMinded SuperHosts. We also encourage pods & breakout discussions in our interactive sessions, so you always have someone to bounce ideas off!

Welcome to the LikeMinded universe. Where connections, communities and events thrive! I'm Amber, the founder & CEO. LikeMinded is more than just an app; it is facilitator of in person social connection and epic events.
I am slight wildcard I'm not going to lie. I will try to summarise for you! I dropped out of highschool at 16, was a kinder teacher for 8 years, did a degree in Biomedical science. Throw in being homeless during a covid -19 pandemic, some hard work scrubbing toilets for a living whilst I studied and you apparently get the perfect combination for what I do now! Fast forward 3 years I now own several companies, a podcast and a global online program and run regular large scale events across Australia.
Here's the secret. LikeMinded has two sides to it -
1. People who are looking to connect with others through events & activities (hence our tagline "A friend for every event").
2. Event organisers who are creating epic events and want them shown to exactly the right audience.
We are talking the TikTok FYP for events here friends.
Not only is the feed insanely high tech and curated to the user, we are actually able to increase your event attendance.
HOW?? Is probably what you are thinking.
It's actually really simple, straightforward human psychology.
9/10 times people want to attend events where they know at least 1 or 2 familiar faces. We match people based on their interests and favourite events & lower the barrier to facilitate their IRL meet.
As a result, we see more people following through with their plans, organising to catch up etc. All because they feel... Comfortable. What a concept.
Our overarching goal is to reduce loneliness through in-person events, experiences, and travel. Our mission is to bring people together and create meaningful relationships in a world where genuine connections are often hard to find. And if we can help keep epic events running on the way, we think that's a pretty sweet deal too!

You will learn how to become a stellar event host from week one through to eight of our super Host Program. You will learn from multiple expert speakers throughout the duration of the program and we are confidant everyone will get something out of every session! You will be given an event strategy template to work on alongside the online topics/sessions. You will also get access to our super host slack, where you can connect and interact with fellow event organisers and industry leaders. You will be matched to a hype crew to help you develop deeper connections within the program. You will be given the opportunity to book 2 free mentor sessions with an industry specialist (you can book additional after this if needed, it will be charged as per the mentors individual rate). You will have the option to participate in co-working and weekly group accountability sessions (Melbourne only, optional & extra costs apply). We host regular in person dinners, workshops, panels and other events across Melbourne and Sydney through both the program and with our partnered events, so you will have plenty of opportunities to get to know who is in your cohort!
The program is hosted online via Butter which allows for an interactive, cameras on, workshop vibe! We enjoy breakout rooms regularly so you can network as well as learn.
The program for cohort #2 will commence on the 28th of October 2024.
We will tell you! We will follow up with all waitlisted people to book in a 10 minute discovery call to see if it's a fit and to answer any questions you may have. Following this you will be notified of your acceptance into the program if you are successful! We will then take payment and onboard you.
We accept members into our program who are actively planning to organise or are already running and planning events. If you are unsure what kind of events you want to start running, we recommend diving in anyway as we have a great ideation and discovery section of our program that covers this in detail.
After week 8 you will have access to all our resources, slack channel etc for an additional 30 days to ensure you get everything you need! After this you have the option to renew your cohort membership with us to stay connected in all our channels, attend all our events and go through the cohort again to meet even more amazing event organisers! We also add new features and benefits every cohort. Alumni Admission prices are $299.00 AUD. Alternatively you can choose to graduate the Super Host program & you will be granted our Super Host graduation certificate!
