I am slight wildcard I'm not going to lie. I will try to summarise for you! I dropped out of highschool at 16, was a kinder teacher for 8 years, did a degree in Biomedical science. Throw in being homeless during a covid -19 pandemic, some hard work scrubbing toilets for a living whilst I studied and you apparently get the perfect combinat

With over seven years in marketing, particularly in the tech sector, Jessica is passionate about events and community building. She is also incredibly passionate about promoting diversity in leadership, having been the Head of People at the Female Leadership Academy, a volunteer-run non-profit focused on increasing diversity in leadership roles in Denmark.

Nehal Jain has a diverse background spanning corporate and startup environments, with experience in SaaS tech, climate tech, and the circular economy. As a former Program Manager at Microsoft, she has extensive experience running and hosting community and startup events, fostering connections, and building thriving ecosystems.

Through Trishlaa, she hosts clothing swap events and activations that bring communities together while encouraging sustainable behaviours. As founder of After, a unwearable textile recovery, repurposing and recycling service, she is dedicated to making systemic change within the textiles industry.

Having been a past participant of the SuperHost Program, Nehal understands the immense value it brings and is excited to return as a Cohort Lead. Fun fact: She has attended ~10 varied such programs in the past two years, making her well-equipped to guide and support others through this journey.

Learn from a weekly selection of industry speakers and mentors who will work with you to build out your perfect event strategy from end-to-end. You will gain invaluable skills in event planning, preparation, execution, and follow up, all within an 8 week time frame! 

Book personal meetings with mentors and receive progressive feedback on your event plan each week. Participate in meaningful group discussion within our slack community of event organisers and share your upcoming events to others within the group, learn from each other's wins and challenges!

Within these topics you'll also learn how to hack AI for efficient event planning, how to grow an engaged community surrounding your events and an online platform to facilitate this. Get tips on how to negotiate with sponsors and partners like a boss as well as how set your events up for success from a financial perspective. Get all the goss on the best tech tools & platforms to host your events with and stay current.

Support from the Start

There is nothing worse than going it alone! Everyone needs a support system, including event organisers! We understand this, which is why we curate small groups in our cohorts called "hype crews". These hype crews consist of 3-4 other event organisers who you can get to know more intimately, who share your interests, strategies, struggles and wins! Our SuperHost program is offered to groups of up to 100 participants, and we throw a range of optional community events & catch ups in between lessons across Melbourne & Sydney so you can make in person valuable connections with LikeMinded SuperHosts. We also encourage pods & breakout discussions in our interactive sessions, so you always have someone to bounce ideas off!

What Will I Learn?

Kick off the cohort with an in-depth exploration of how to identify and engage your ideal audience. With expert guest speakers offering real-world insights, you'll delve into the 12x12 goal-setting rule and join interactive networking activities. Expect engaging discussions and role-playing exercises to sharpen your skills in identifying audience needs.


A strong online presence is crucial in today’s front-facing world of events and communities. In Week Two, industry experts will guide you through hands-on sessions focused on creating captivating content. Participate in an interactive platform health assessment and group brainstorming on community-building strategies.


Learn how to generate buzz for your events from dynamic guest speakers. Through team challenges and role-playing, you’ll brainstorm promotional ideas and practice volunteer onboarding techniques that foster excitement and community spirit.


Week Four showcases case studies from successful event planners, paired with interactive workshops on financial planning and grant acquisition. Engage in a live event-planning simulation to tackle logistics and marketing strategies. You’ll also learn how to use tools like LikeMinded to boost attendance.


Gain insider knowledge from guest speakers on negotiation tactics and sponsorship strategies. Participate in role-playing scenarios to master negotiation techniques, develop sponsorship proposals, and lock in PR, press, and the perfect venue. Learn how to build partnerships with influencers and maintain long-term


Sharpen your hosting skills with insights from seasoned professionals. Through hands-on activities, you’ll learn how to create the perfect event ambiance, improve public speaking, and use technology to streamline event management.


In Week Seven, you’ll dive into strategies to retain attendees and keep them coming back. Join interactive brainstorming sessions to craft community-building ideas and practice collecting and analysing feedback that turns attendees into loyal community members.


In the final week, guest speakers will share best practices for using feedback to build loyalty and fuel word-of-mouth promotion. Participate in workshops that transform feedback into actionable improvements for your future events.

  • 8 Weeks of online and in person learnings! 8+ 1hr online sessions.
  •  You will learn from multiple expert speakers throughout the duration of the program and we are confidant everyone will get something out of every session! 
  • You will be given an event strategy template to work on alongside the online topics/sessions. 
  • Access hundreds of helpful resources such as a deep dive on your target market and a sponsor deck template. 
  • You will also get access to our super host slack, where you can connect and interact with fellow event organisers and industry leaders. 
  • Opportunities for networking with other LikeMinded event organisers and community builders within our community. We try to provide opportunities to chat and connect in each session. 
  • You will be matched to a "hype crew" to help you develop deeper connections within the program. Usually made up of 4-5 other fabulous people with similar industry/backgrounds/interests. 
  • You will be given the opportunity to book 2 free mentor sessions with an industry specialist (you can book additional after this if needed, it will be charged as per the mentors individual rate). 
  • You will have the option to participate in co-working and weekly group accountability sessions (Melbourne/Sydney only, optional & extra costs apply). 
  • We host regular in person dinners, workshops, panels and other events across Melbourne and Sydney through both the program and with our partnered events, so you will have plenty of opportunities to get to know who is in your cohort!

The program is hosted online via Butter which allows for an interactive, cameras on, workshop vibe! We enjoy breakout rooms regularly so you can network as well as learn.


The program for cohort #2 will commence on the 28th of October 2024.


We will tell you! We will follow up with all waitlisted people to book in a 10 minute discovery call to see if it's a fit and to answer any questions you may have. Following this you will be notified of your acceptance into the program if you are successful! We will then take payment and onboard you. 


We accept members into our program who are actively planning to organise or are already running and planning events. If you are unsure what kind of events you want to start running, we recommend diving in anyway as we have a great ideation and discovery section of our program that covers this in detail.

After week 8 you will have access to all our resources, slack channel etc for an additional 30 days to ensure you get everything you need! After this you have the option to renew your cohort membership with us to stay connected in all our channels, attend all our events and go through the cohort again to meet even more amazing event organisers! We also add new features and benefits every cohort. Alumni Admission prices are $299.00 AUD. Alternatively you can choose to graduate the Super Host program & you will be granted our Super Host graduation certificate!
